W&M Bray School Lab Announces Descendants Week 2026 April | 13-18
The W&M Bray School lab present the 5th Annual Descendants Week, April 13-18, 2026 - a week of events to recognize the students of the Williamsburg Bray School (1760-1774) and the broader Descendant Community.
All events are free and open to the public, and all-in person events will take place at Earl Greg Swem Library, 400 Landrum Drive, Williamsburg, VA 23186.
Events this year will include a Virtual Town Hall, Bruton Making for Bray Students, the annual Descendants Week reception, and a preservation workshop on family Bibles.
Monday, April 13, 6pm
We begin with a virtual Town Hall, where we'll invite community partners to share updates and future events.

Special Collections will lead a workshop on preserving family Bibles, the archives that are central to genealogy and family history. The space limits this workshop to preserving 15 Bibles. Registration is required.
