An evening of inspiration and music to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Historic First Baptist Church and its place in American history. The Let Freedom Ring Foundation will recognize Brent Leggs and his team at the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund, a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, with the inaugural Freedom’s Bell Award at the Foundation’s annual gala on October 10 in Williamsburg, Virginia.
Guest musical artist is Sarah Ikumu. A star born of Talent, Faith, and Family. She has an extraordinary voice, but also the dreams and pride of an entire community. The artist at just 15 years old left an unforgettable impression—not only for her astonishing vocal talent but for the calm confidence and humility with which she conducted herself on the stage.
