A Musical Journey of African American Composers

The First Baptist Church of Williamsburg will present a program celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on Wednesday, January 15 at 6:00 PM. The program will feature the First Baptist Church Choir, directed by Reginald Fox, and the Bruton Parish Choir, directed by Beckie Davy, showcasing music of African American composers. Also, Steve Prince, guest artist in residence and Director of Community Engagement for the Muscarelle Museum of Art at William & Mary, will present an historical timeline of events affecting African Americans, utilizing works of African American artists. First Baptist Church is located at 727 Scotland Street, Williamsburg.
